The "feel good" in the Forest campaign, a spoken word film.

Project Overview

Forestry England is a division of the Forestry Commission, responsible for managing and promoting publicly owned forests across England. Their mission is to ensure these natural spaces are accessible to all, while also preserving and protecting them for future generations.

Feel Good Films was commissioned to develop new concepts for Forestry England’s national "Feel Good in the Forest" campaign. In partnership with the National Lottery and Sport England, this initiative aimed to encourage people of all backgrounds to connect with nature and embrace the health benefits of outdoor activities. Working closely with the Forestry England team, we proposed a creative commercial concept centered around a spoken word and soundscape film. The film’s goal was to highlight that the forest is a place for everyone, regardless of background or experience. Through evocative sound design and compelling spoken word, we aimed to capture the transformative power of the forest as an inclusive and accessible space for all.

Filming took place in Norfolk, one of England’s most stunning and tranquil forest locations. The visual storytelling, paired with an immersive soundscape, beautifully communicated the peaceful and restorative qualities of nature.

The campaign was launched across all Forestry England’s social media channels and at various locations, with the added support of the National Lottery and Sport England. Together, these partnerships helped amplify the campaign’s message and reach a wider audience, encouraging more people to visit the forest, enjoy outdoor activities, and experience the positive impact of spending time in nature.
